Within only 10 kilometers (6.5 mile) of Ekshärad you will find this idyllic place located next to the beautiful Lake Gröcken. Back to nature! A unique location situated directly next to the lake.
Enjoy your morning swim from the private beach and catch your own fish which can be prepared directly on the campfire.
Your own ‘peninsula’ with an amazing view, a wood-burning sauna (which is also a bathroom), a jetty with a rowboat;Alternatively you can choose to sleep in a separate overnight cabin, but you can also sleep in the main house. The spacious glass porch also allows you to enjoy the beautiful view over the lake on a less beautiful day. This Eco-holidayhouse has electricity via solar panel (for the telephone or laptop), a Swedish toilet and no running water.
An absolutely marvelous place if you want to relax and enjoy the outdoor with nature as your neighbour.
Cook on the wood stove or on a gas stove. Gas fridge. If necessary during the long summer evenings, you can use oil lamps for lighting, but there are also small solar-powered lights.
